This course will introduce the learner to the skills and strategies that will ensure that clear and proper communication is used at all times at the organization.  The course will stress the importance of communication and will familiarize the learner with various aspects, including interpersonal skills, face-to-face communication, and communicating with teams. This course will introduce the learner to the scope and process of the wealth management discipline, including how to group clients based by net-worth. Additionally, the course will teach the learner about the many resources available to wealth managers that allow them to best acquire clients, put together a prospectus, and analyze market trends. Upon successful completion of the course, the learner will have a strong understanding of:

  • The duties of the wealth manager.
  • Relationship building, communication, and presentation.
  • Performance measurement.

This course will provide the learner with an introduction to the various investment banking and regulatory agencies that s/he will encounter and need to understand while working at the organization. After completing this course, the learner will understand the purpose and functions of the following agencies, among others:

  • The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
  • The U.S. Federal Reserve.
  • The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

The learner will be able to understand types of funds and strategies available to customers concerning everything from real estate to retirement planning.
